Tick off your Christmas list the island way. We’re teaming up with Island Artists & Makers to fill Six Beaches with stalls from Straddie’s local makers. You’ll find handmade, one-of-a-kind gifts you won’t find anywhere else.

The bar will be open all afternoon with light bites from our kitchen and live music to keep things festive. Bring the family and some friends and come shop local. All welcome!

  • Unfortunately not. Our venue is classed as an indoor dining area under Queensland food laws, so pet dogs aren't permitted. Assistance animals are always welcome.

    But it feels like alfresco dining. Why is it considered indoors?

    Queensland's rules look at whether a dining area is enclosed, not just whether it has a roof. Based on our building's layout, our dining spaces are treated as indoor areas. We know it's disappointing, and we appreciate your understanding.

    I thought you allowed dogs before?


    We did allow them for a short time. Since then, we've looked closely at the rules and confirmed we need to follow indoor dining requirements. We'd rather be upfront and consistent with everyone.

    Can I tie my dog up outside?


    Yes. There's a shaded spot near our toilets. For your dog's safety, please keep them in sight. Only seating for this is our high table seating, please call us to discuss further.

  • We kindly request that all guests respect the booking times as made
    and confirmed.

    Your table will be held for 15 minutes after your reservation time, if you are running late please let us know.

  • Six Beaches is fully accessible for those in wheelchairs, please advise when making your reservation so we can arrange the most suitable table for you

  • We operate a casual dress code. Beach and leisure wear are permitted, however, we ask that you wear shoes at all times when visiting us. If you have no shoes on, we cannot allow you to enter. We understand that beachwear may mean swimming attire, however, we kindly ask that this is appropriately covered to ensure the comfort of all patrons. 

  • Unfortunately, we are not licensed to allow you to bring your own drinks. However, we offer a wide selection of locally sourced beverages and skilled mixologists ready to craft the cocktails of your choice.
